Laura Foster
Laura is an employee relations specialist and seasoned investigator with 16 years’ experience of working in people management and employment law. She joined ESP Solicitors having previously worked for our sister brand, Vista. Her other previous roles include working in-house for a large acute NHS teaching hospital trust and a government regulator on the South Coast. She brings a unique insight into life “at the coalface”, having advised managers at all levels on complex employee relations issues and processes.
During her tenure in the NHS, Laura supported the successful defence of several high-profile discrimination claims and played a key role in policy development and negotiating with unions.
Laura is a seasoned investigator. Her particular specialisms include complex and AI-generated grievances involving bullying, harassment, discrimination and whistleblowing. She is also adept at navigating professional misconduct and safeguarding issues within the NHS, education and care sectors.
Laura is a divemaster and in her spare time she enjoys scuba diving off the South Coast and abroad. She is also a qualified yoga teacher.
